Statements critical of India keep coming from Pakistani cricketers. Now the name of Pakistani all-rounder Khushdil Shah has also been added to this list. Shah gave a controversial statement and said that whenever there is a match between India and Pakistan, the decisions taken during umpiring go in favor of India.
In fact, Khushdil Shah recently appeared on ARY Podcast, where he was asked for his opinion on the high-voltage matches between India and Pakistan. Khushdil Shah alleged that the venue of the matches is also given as per the choice of India.
Regarding the India vs Pakistan match, Khushdil Shah said, ‘There is not much pressure in the India-Pakistan match, but there are more emotions associated with this match. Secondly, things happen in the match that go in favor of Team India. Like sometimes the umpire’s decision goes in their favor and some decisions of the dressing room also go in India’s favor. Sometimes matches also happen as per their wish.”
Khushdil Shah further said that despite all these things, if Pakistan wins, then the joy of victory increases manifold. Let us tell you that Khushdil Shah is currently an active cricketer of Pakistan and has played 53 matches in his international career.

India and Pakistan last came face to face in the 2026 T20 World Cup. In the Group A match played on 15 February, Team India defeated Pakistan by a margin of 61 runs. In that match, Ishan Kishan had scored 77 runs, while almost all the bowlers of India wreaked havoc on the Pakistan team.
