Apart from the T20 series against England and Ireland, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also been selected in the Indian squad for the Asian Games. Vaibhav, who came to Team India at the age of only 15, has done great feats. Now Rajasthan Royals has shared the video clip of Vaibhav’s interview, in which he said that he wants to dominate the world of cricket for the next 20 years.
Vaibhav won many awards together in IPL 2026. Got the Orange Cap for scoring 776 runs, he was also chosen as the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the season for his impact innings. He hit the most sixes (72) in the season and also got the Tata Sierra car for the best strike rate.
Want to dominate for 20 years
In the video interview shared by Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Suryavanshi said – I have thought that for the next 20 years or until God gives me a chance to play for the country or for the franchise. Every time I play in such a way that people say that there was a player who used to finish the match single-handedly.
Vaibhav further said that dominance should be seen in the game. The figures of IPL 2026 are also a proof of this, because Vaibhav single-handedly won many matches for Rajasthan. He said, ‘It is not that we just played and the game is over. Have to dominate for 10-20 years. I want to play good cricket.”
Figures testify to dominance
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has scored 1028 runs in 23 matches in his short IPL career. He also has 2 centuries and 6 half-centuries to his name. Batting stormily for Under-19 level and India A, Vaibhav has so far scored 1477 runs in his 34-match T20 career. Especially his strike rate is very attractive, which is more than 220 in T20. Vaibhav can very soon play his first match for Team India on the tour of Ireland or England.
