Afghanistan reached 194 with Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s century.
Batting first, the entire Afghanistan team was all out for 194 runs in 24.5 overs. The visiting team had a bad start, Ibrahim Zadran was out after scoring 1 run in the very second over. He was made his victim by Gurnoor Brar, who was playing his debut match. After this, Arshdeep Singh sent Sediqullah Atal (3) and Rahmat Shah (3) to the pavilion cheaply.
Rehmanullah Gurbaz, who came to open after 3 wickets fell for 26 runs, along with captain Hashmatullah Shahidi made a partnership of 116 runs for the fourth wicket. Gurbaz scored 102 runs in 51 balls, in which he hit 8 sixes and as many fours. He became the fastest batsman to score a century in ODI for Afghanistan, he completed his century in 48 balls.
After Gurbaz’s dismissal, the Indian bowlers made a brilliant comeback and bundled out Afghanistan for 194 runs. Gurbaz was bowled by Nitish Kumar Reddy with a brilliant ball.
