Rohit has become only the fifth Indian batsman to touch the mark of 14,000 runs in List-A cricket. Before him, only four Indians including Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli had been able to do this.
Rohit Sharma scored 48 runs playing 39 balls in the second ODI. In this innings he hit 6 fours and 2 sixes. In fact, after scoring 10 runs in this match, Rohit had completed 14000 runs in his List-A career. Rohit Sharma’s form becomes a concern
Rohit Sharma may have completed 14000 List-A runs, but there has been a decline in his form. So far in the year 2026, Rohit has scored 125 runs in five innings at an average of only 25. This year he has not scored a single half-century in ODIs. The inning of 48 runs played against Afghanistan was the first time in 2026 that Rohit had crossed the 30-run mark in an innings.
