Notification for Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D 2026 has been issued by Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Besides, the application process for this has also started. Interested candidates can register by visiting the official site.

Haryana CET is a common eligibility test. It is organized for recruitment to Group D posts in government departments. Candidates are not required to appear in the examination again and again for different posts. Candidates are included in the recruitment process only on the basis of marks obtained in CET.

Who can apply?

Candidates applying for Group D recruitment must have passed 10th from a recognized board. Also, the candidate should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit subject in 10th class.

Talking about age limit, the age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years till the last date of application 3rd July 2026. However, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per Haryana Government rules.

How many marks are required to pass?

General category candidates will have to obtain at least 50 percent marks to pass the examination. Whereas candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other reserved categories have been given a relaxation of 10 percent. That means reserved category candidates can pass the examination by scoring 40 percent marks.

How much is the application fee?

A fee of Rs 500 has been fixed for general category and other state candidates applying for this examination. Whereas reserved category candidates of Haryana will have to pay a fee of Rs 250 and all women candidates of general, EWS and reserved category of Haryana will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250.

how to apply?

Before applying, candidates must keep the necessary documents ready. These include 10th mark sheet, passport size photo, signature, caste certificate, residence certificate and other necessary documents.

First of all, candidates have to register by visiting the One Time Registration (OTR) portal. After completion of OTR, you will have to go to the official website of HSSC and click on the online application link under advertisement number 05/2026.

After this, personal details, education details, address and category related information will have to be filled. After uploading all the required documents, candidates can deposit the application fee as per their category. After completion of the application process, keep a printout of the form.
