Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf remembered the victims of the Minab school incident ahead of technical talks with the US in Switzerland. He said that the memories of these innocent children will guide Iran’s decisions in the talks towards ending hostility in West Asia.

In a post on social media platform He wrote that he always feels that these people are watching him and expect from him that he will do justice to the country.

Using the hashtag Minab168, Ghalibaf dedicated this message to the memory of the children of Minab School. This statement came when the Iranian delegation reached Zurich, Switzerland for the first round of technical talks with the US.

According to Iranian government media IRIB, Ghalibaf himself is leading this delegation. Many senior officials including Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, the Governor of the Central Bank, Oil Ministry officials and the Foreign Ministry spokesperson are also present. The main objective of this visit is to discuss the implementation of the points already decided under the Agreement (MoU) with America. What did Iran’s Foreign Ministry say?

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said that the main objective of the talks will be to review the observance of previously agreed agreements. He also said that Iran will keep a close eye on the implementation of any agreement keeping in mind the past experiences. Switzerland’s Foreign Ministry welcomed the Iranian delegation, saying that the visit is part of efforts to implement the agreement between the US and Iran.
