Fuel Shortage: In the last few months, India saw a shortage of oil and gas. Due to the war between US and Iran, the movement of crude oil was affected, due to which the prices of petrol and diesel also increased. After which India was thinking of becoming completely dependent on cheap Russian oil. But now there are reports that oil shortage has started in Russia too. We are not saying this but the President himself has said this.

Putin further said, ‘In the last few weeks, Ukraine has attacked many Russian oil refineries and fuel storage centers. Due to this, there is shortage of petrol and diesel in many areas of Russia and long lines are forming at petrol pumps. Ukraine had proposed to stop the long-range attacks, but Russia feels that Ukraine wants this because Russia’s retaliatory attacks are causing more harm to it.
Russia is trying to capture these areas
Putin also said that at present Russia’s goal is to completely capture the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. Until this goal is achieved, Russia will not accept any peace agreement that is not according to its terms. He also said that he hopes that US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will start talks again soon. He also said that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko can help in peace talks.

Agreement not signed
During this conversation, Putin also told that during the talks between him and US President Donald Trump in Alaska last year, some possible ways to end the Ukraine war were discussed, but no official agreement or document was signed.
How will the prices of petrol and diesel be reduced in India?
Although there is now a ceasefire between Iran and UK, but this is a contract of only 60 days. In such a situation, after 60 days the situation may become the same again, due to which India had seen Russia as a support in such a situation. But now when there is a shortage of oil in Russia too, there is doubt as to what will be the prices of petrol and diesel in India. If the situation does not improve, oil prices may also increase.
