Fishermen will not be able to catch fish in this state till August 15, government will give Rs 50 thousand

The government is seriously considering providing financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to the fishermen affected during the ban period this year. This money will be transferred directly to their bank accounts so that they do not face any problem in running their household during this free time.

The benefit of this government scheme will be available only to those fishermen who are registered with the Fisheries Department and who have a valid license. The government will soon issue complete guidelines for applying for it and the list of required documents so that this huge help can reach the rightful person without any hindrance.

Fishermen’s associations of coastal areas have wholeheartedly welcomed the government’s proposal of financial assistance of Rs 50,000. He says that this amount will prove to be very helpful in compensating the losses caused due to the long ban and this will prevent small fishermen from getting trapped in debt.

The administration has also given a strict warning that if any fisherman secretly takes a boat into the sea till August 15, he will be fined heavily. Keeping security in mind, the Coast Guard and local police are continuously keeping a strict vigil on the coastal border so that the rules are completely followed.
