The authority has registered Khasra numbers 700–711, 723, 724, 728–735, 745–752, 759, 760, 762–764, 779, 780 and 795–798 of Salarpur Khadar, and Khasra numbers 176, 178, 217, of Bhangel Begumpur. 221, 223, 225, 226, 247, 250 and 251 have been included in the government records. Maps and satellite images have also been issued along with the notice to identify the affected lands.

Why was the warning issued?

According to Noida Authority, some land mafias and encroachers have carried out illegal construction on the acquired land in Salarpur Khadar, Bhangel Begumpur and Hajipur villages. The authority has said that no building plan has been approved on these identified lands. In such a situation, any house or plot built here will not be considered legally valid. Not only this, many facilities like electricity, water, roads and drains will not be provided in these areas.

What precautions should buyers take?

If someone offers to sell you a plot or house in these areas, then before buying it, you should check the Khasra number and land records thoroughly. If that house falls in Khasra number 730, a plot of Salarpur Khadar, then it will be under the warning of the authority.

By purchasing such land, you will have to face many dangers in the future, especially demolition of construction, not getting government facilities and long legal disputes. Therefore, it is important that before buying a property, you verify all the documents properly.
