In this short innings he hit 2 sixes. He got a place in the playing eleven in place of Sanju Samson in the second T20 match. Vaibhav was stumped by Jos Buttler on the ball of Will Jacques.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made the record of making international debut for India at the youngest age. He played his first match at the age of 15 years and 99 days. Earlier this record was in the name of Sachin Tendulkar, who played his first international match against Pakistan in 1989 at the age of 16 years and 205 days.
Half-century partnership in the first match
Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a record by making a half-century partnership in his first international match. In the second T20 match against England, he along with Abhishek added 50 runs in 29 balls.
