Sachin Tendulkar’s record broken
Till now the Indian record for making international debut at the youngest age was in the name of Sachin Tendulkar. He played his first international cricket match against Pakistan in 1989 at the age of 16 years and 205 days. After 37 years, Vaibhav has defeated him in this matter. Vaibhav played his first international match for India at the age of just 15 years and 99 days.
There was a lot of controversy over the name of Vaibhav Suryavanshi for the last one week. Team India’s UK tour had started from June 26, but Vaibhav did not get a chance to debut in the 2 matches against Ireland and the first T20 match against England. Finally, Vaibhav made his debut on 4th July 2025.
