What decision did South Korea take?
According to media reports, the South Korean government has adopted a new method to promote the use of SAF in the aviation sector. Now the production and use of ethanol based fuel will be promoted. The government wants that in the coming year, airlines should gradually replace old jet fuel with more eco-friendly fuel.

India has also been working rapidly on the ethanol blending program for a long time. The country is trying to reduce dependence on imported crude oil by mixing ethanol in petrol. Apart from this, research and development work on sustainable aviation fuel is also going on in India.
