Amit Shah Announce New Insurance Company: The fifth foundation day of the Ministry of Cooperation was celebrated on Monday. On this occasion, Union Cooperative Minister Amit Shah has announced a new cooperative insurance company. Through which he has talked about giving benefits to cooperative institutions. This insurance company is going to be completely formed on the lines of Bharat Taxi.

Insurance company’s Bharat Taxi connection!
In fact, Union Cooperative Minister Amit Shah has announced a life insurance company named CLIC on Monday. Under this campaign, the scope of business of cooperative institutions will be expanded. During this, Shah said, ‘There are about 8.5 lakh cooperative institutions in India, which have more than 30 crore members’. During this, he also said that due to the success of the cooperative cab service model ‘Bharat Taxi’, this insurance company will also be made on the same lines.

He said, ‘On the lines of Bharat Taxi, we will establish a life insurance company in the cooperative sector. This will help in the development of cooperative institutions in the insurance sector.

Benefits of new insurance company
During this, Amit Shah has also said that after the formation of this new life insurance company, insurance services will easily reach the members of about 30 crore cooperative institutions. This will benefit crores of farmers of the country who are associated with Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS). They will now be able to purchase an insurance policy directly from their nearest cooperative center and claim it. They will not have to visit big cities or banks.

‘Bharat Taxi’ will expand
During this event itself, Amit Shah also told that this decision has been taken considering the response ‘Bharat Taxi’ is getting in the country. According to Shah, the cab service platform ‘Bharat Taxi’, started under the cooperative model, has performed well and will be expanded to 500 cities in the next two years. At present there are 6.37 lakh registered drivers and 35.77 lakh registered customers associated with Bharat Taxi. In such a situation, it is going to be expanded to other new cities also in the coming time.
