The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has declared the results of CMA Foundation June 2026 examination. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their result and scorecard online by visiting the official website of the institute. For this, candidates will have to enter their registration or identification number.

This time, excellent performance of students from South India was seen in the merit list released. Vignesh S of Chennai secured the first position, while Tippuluri Jagan Mohan Reddy of Guntur stood second. Gaurangi Shukla of Agra secured the third rank. Jaipur’s Sonakshika Sharda was also successful in making it to the top-10. There was a strong presence of students from cities like Guntur, Hyderabad, Chennai and Visakhapatnam in the merit list.

ICMAI has also released the subject wise marks of the candidates along with the result. Students who have successfully passed the exam can now complete the admission process to the next level of the CMA course and start preparing for further studies.

The exam was held on 14th June

CMA Foundation June 2026 examination was conducted on June 14 at various examination centers across the country. The question paper consisted of 50 multiple choice (MCQ) questions, for which a total of 100 marks were prescribed. Two marks were given for each correct answer, whereas there was no negative marking in this exam. This gave the candidates an opportunity to attempt all the questions.

What are the rules to pass?

Merely scoring a good overall score is not enough to be declared successful in the CMA Foundation exam. It is mandatory for the candidate to obtain at least 40 percent marks in every subject. Apart from this, it is also necessary to score 50 percent or more marks in all subjects taken together. The candidate is considered successful in the examination only when both the conditions are fulfilled.

If a candidate does not score minimum marks in any one subject or does not score 50 percent marks in aggregate, he/she will have to re-appear in the examination. Therefore, while checking the results, students have been advised to check the subject wise marks carefully.

These students made it to the top 10

In the merit list, Vignesh S (Chennai) stood first, Tippuluri Jagan Mohan Reddy (Guntur) stood second and Gaurangi Shukla (Agra) stood third. Apart from this, students from Guntur, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Madurai, Jaipur, Rourkela, Ahmedabad and Cuttack also made their place in the top-10.

To see the result, first go to the official website of ICMAI. After this click on CMA Foundation June 2026 Result/Scorecard link. Now enter your registration number or identification number and submit. Your scorecard will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded and kept safe for future.
