The fifth and last match of the India-England T20 series will be played in Southampton on 11 July. Team India is trailing 0-3 in the series after four matches. Especially the batting is under question, where everyone from Tilak Verma to Ishan Kishan and Shivam Dubey have failed to play big innings.
The bowling was also exposed in the fourth T20 match. Where England achieved the target of 159 runs in the 14th over by losing only one wicket. Now Team India will come to save its honor in Southampton. Know here how much the Indian playing eleven can change in the last match of the series.
Will 3 players be out?
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Tilak Verma and Washington Sundar may be out of the fifth T20 match. Talking about Vaibhav Suryavanshi, he has scored only 42 runs in 3 matches. Indian batsmen have been seen struggling in all the matches, despite this Vaibhav has emphasized only on swinging the bat. It is possible that the management may bring back Sanju Samson for the last match. The blame may also fall on vice-captain Tilak Verma, who has scored only 51 runs in four innings of this series.
Apart from Tilak Verma and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, all-rounder Washington Sundar may also be dropped. Suryansh Shedge, who is a fast bowling all-rounder, may get a chance in his place. Shedge made his international debut in the series against Ireland. He could score only one run in batting and took one wicket in bowling.
India’s probable playing eleven in the fifth T20: Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer (captain), Shivam Dubey, Tilak Verma, Axar Patel, Suryansh Shedge, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav, Prasidh Krishna
