A cancer hospital has been closed in Ahwaz city of Iran. This hospital has been closed for some time. Due to American air strikes near the hospital, 211 patients, including children undergoing chemotherapy, had to be evacuated from there.
The attacks late on Wednesday night targeted the areas around Shahid Bagai Hospital, a specialized center for hematology and oncology in Khuzestan province. The hospital building has been affected by the tremors of the explosions. After this the authorities had to send the patients to another medical center.

According to Aljazeera, hospital staff say that some people had children in their arms. Some had IVs in their arms. Some were in wheelchairs. Everyone came out. According to Iran’s government news agency IRNA, the patients were evacuated to save their lives. The hospital has been closed for some time. There is no news of any casualty.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry responded
At the same time, Iran has condemned this attack by America. A Foreign Ministry spokesman described the US attack near a children’s cancer hospital in Ahvaz as a barbaric war crime. He has said that due to this attack, 211 patients undergoing chemotherapy had to be evacuated from there in an emergency situation.
Ismail Bagai posted on X that the Martyr Bagai Hospital, a children’s cancer treatment center in Ahvaz, was evacuated last night. America had attacked a nearby place.
He said that this barbaric attack is a reminder of Israel’s atrocities against health services. Caused immense suffering and anxiety for the children admitted to the hospital. 211 patients undergoing chemotherapy were forced to leave the place due to emergency. This is a dastardly war crime against the most innocent of human beings, the children who are bravely fighting for their lives.
Bagai said that he constantly talks about human rights. We turn a blind eye when hospitals and health centers are targeted. He has lost all his moral credibility. All the patients have been shifted to another hospital. His treatment is continuing.
