Operation Sindoor: India launched an air strike at the terrorist bases present in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) late on Wednesday night. This action was taken under ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the special thing was that the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, all three armies jointly participated in it. This was the first time after the 1971 war, when the three armies of India took action against Pakistan together.

Direct attack on the bases of terror

A total of 9 terrorist bases were targeted in this operation. These include Jaish-e-Mohammed’s headquarters at Bahawalpur and the hideout of Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to the army, terrorist attacks in India were being planned from these places and these were targeted.

How did the attack?

The three armies used their state-of-the-art weapons in this operation. In particular, Loitering Ammunition was used, these are weapons that go directly to the enemy’s target and hit them directly and blast there. The army clarified that the Pakistani Army did not attack on any base, only the targets of terrorists were targeted.

Restrained but befitting reply

The Indian Army also said that this operation was completely restrained, accurate and non-prone. India worked very carefully while choosing the goal and attacked only the terrorist structure. This step has been taken after the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed.

PM Modi and NSA Doval took command

According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself monitored the operation all night. As soon as the operation was completed, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval gave complete information to American NSA and Foreign Minister Marco Rubio. It is also clear from this that India is also fully active on the political and diplomatic front this time.
