Mahmood madani on Pakistan shelling: In response to the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April 2025, India launched Operation Sindoor and there was an outcry in Pakistan. The neighboring country targeted innocent citizens in India. Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir took a horrific bombing and firing on last night (May 08, 2025). Regarding this, Maulana Mahmood Madni, president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, said that he has a madrasa in Poonch and one person was killed and 4 children were injured in Pakistan’s firing.
He said, “Recent people were sent to identify and kill innocent citizens in Pahalgam but now, the common citizens are getting shelling. We have their own madrasa in Poonch. Yesterday a scholar has been martyred and four children of the madrasa were injured. Such acts, such behavior and such methods should be closed. This is what we have been saying from the beginning.”
‘We are standing with our army in every way’
In Pahalgam, the terrorist told a woman, ‘Go to tell Modi’, reacting to this statement, the president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind said, “Yes, the answer has been given.” He also said, “India is our country. It is our responsibility to protect it and we should be ready to make all kinds of sacrifices. We are standing with our army in every way.”
‘Should not bear or should not complain’
“The message to the public is to stay stretched. There may be more difficulties further, but should not cry or complain. If the difficulties come, we will tolerate them. The prayer is that the situation does not worsen, but if it deteriorates, the people of India will stand with courage and determination with their army.”
