In the Kargutta operation, security forces killed 31 dreaded Naxalites, including high rank cadres of the organization. During the campaign, more than 450 IEDs were deactivated and large quantities of state -of -the -art weapons were recovered.

It has been told that the Central Library being developed in Bijapur has now become a new age learning center, not just the place of books. Computer training here started from 22 January 2025, in which 30 students are undergoing training. With this, free career classes are being run from 1 April 2025, where 60 youth are giving shape to dreams. Modern technology is also being used here, children are making education experience with technology like VR set, daylight scope and Alexa.
‘Where the guns were held till yesterday, we are learning to fly drones today’
The Chief Minister visited the ongoing rehabilitation center in the old Navodaya hostel. Here 90 surrendered Naxalites are not only living a safe life, but also taking training towards respectable employment. They are being trained in courses like drone operator, small poultry farmer, taxi driver.
