Tesla’s first showroom in India

Alan Musk is quite keen to bring Tesla to India as he sees the Indian market as an alternative to the Chinese car market after several restrictions on two-way investment between China and the US.
Model y
At present, all Tesla cars will be imported for sale in India as it does not have any manufacturing unit in the country. According to the report, Tesla can invest US $ 30 billion for manufacturing and other facilities in the coming five years.
Now let’s talk about Tesla’s Model Y, whose interior includes updated LED lighting, better aerodynamics and 15.4 -inch central touchscreen and 8 -inch rear passenger screen. It has two variants- RWD and long-range AWD, whose range is 19 km and 662 km respectively. It takes 5.9 seconds (RWD) and 4.3 seconds (AWD) to catch a speed of 0-100 kmph. The price of Tesla model Y in India is estimated to be around 70 lakh rupees.
Model-3
Now let’s talk about Tesla Model 3, which has three variants. Long-range RWD, long-range AWD and performance. The RWD model gives a range of 584 km and 0-100 km per hour in 4.9 seconds. The AWD version runs at a speed of 557 km and 4.2 seconds, while the high-performance variants offer 510hp, which runs at a speed of 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
The interior of model 3 is like the model Y. It also has a 15.4 -inch central screen and an 8.0 -inch rear passenger screen. The Tesla Model 3 is priced at $ 29,990 (Rs 25.99 lakh) in the US. If it is imported with 15 percent duty fee in India, then its showroom price will be around Rs 29.79 lakh.
