Donald Trump on Operation Sindoor: US President Donald Trump has changed his statement on the Indo-Pak ceasefire at the press conference after a meeting with Pakistani Army General Asim Munir on Wednesday (19 June 2025). He had earlier claimed arbitration on the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. However, now he credited this, not himself, but to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir. He said that two intelligent people decided that this struggle would not be extended further. It could have turned into an atomic war.

Earlier US President Trump had claimed many times that I have stopped the Indo-Pakistan war. However, now his statement has changed. Earlier, he had talked to PM Modi on the phone for 35 minutes, in which PM Modi clearly denied anything about arbitration. On this, from the G7 Summit (Canada), India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt dismissed Trump’s claim and said that America had no role during Operation Sindoor. India will never accept any third party mediation.

India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan
In response to the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April 2025, India took military action on Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. 9 Pakistani air locations were damaged, in which 100 terrorists were confirmed to be killed. Apart from this, India had attacked many airbase in Pakistan with missiles, due to which the neighboring country was very damaged. After this, Pakistan took the initiative of ceasefire through military communication channels. However, India gave a clear message to the world through the operation vermilion that it would not tolerate any terrorist attacks and will give a befitting reply to the enemies.
