PM modi in bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated the development projects worth thousands of water, rail and electricity in Siwan. During this, the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary were also present on the stage.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of water, electricity and railway sector development projects worth more than Rs 6,000 crore in Siwan, Bihar on Friday. These projects also come under the Namami Gange scheme, which aims to strengthen the infrastructure of the state. On this occasion, he said that this is only one beginning, and the central government is committed to the overall development of Bihar.

Bihar denied Jungle Raj, wrote a new chapter of self -respect
PM Modi said that you together eliminated Jungle Raj from Bihar. Today’s youth listen to the plight of Bihar only 20 years ago in stories. ‘Paw’ and ‘Lantern’ made Bihar a symbol of migration. But the people of Bihar never compromise their self -respect even in difficult circumstances.
The Prime Minister alleged that these people hurt the self-respect of Bihar and made such a loot that poverty became the identity of Bihar. The NDA government has brought Bihar back on track by crossing these challenges under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
Bihar got basic facilities in 10 years
Prime Minister Modi said that in the last 10–11 years, large -scale development works have been done in Bihar:
- More than 55,000 km of rural roads were built.
- More than 1.5 crore houses were linked to electricity.
- One and a half crore people got water connection.
- More than 45,000 common service centers were established.
He said that for the progress of Bihar, we have to speed up this pace.
Conspiracy to return Jungle Raj, people are cautious
The Prime Minister warned that today when Bihar is moving at a fast pace, then those who bring Jungle Raj are looking for an opportunity again. They are again trying to repeat their old feats. The public will have to be cautious with such people and do not have to stop this journey of development.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s welcome address
On this occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar welcomed PM Modi and said, “Ever since NDA got a chance to work, there has been a wide change in Bihar. People were afraid to get out of their house in earlier governments. Today women are going out with confidence, unprecedented work has been done in the field of education and health. We have given 50 percent reservation to women, and their empowerment is clearly visible today.” Nitish Kumar also thanked Prime Minister Modi for conducting caste census.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said, “I thank Prime Minister Modi that he came to Siwan today in the inauguration and foundation stone of Rs 6,000 crore projects under the Namami Gange scheme. Whenever the Prime Minister comes to Bihar, he returns to the state with some new gift. The whole Bihar keeps waiting for them to come.” He laid special emphasis on the fact that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the state is getting a new direction.
