Stone Pelting on Rajdhani Express in MP: The incident of stone pelting on Rajdhani Express on Friday (June 20) night in Madhya Pradesh was stirred up. The incident occurred between Rani Kamalapati (East Habibganj) and Bhopal stations when KSR Bangalore-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express (22691) was passing.
Fortunately no passenger was injured in this attack, but panic spread among the passengers and in view of the seriousness of the case, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has started investigation.
What is the matter?
This case is being reported two days ago. According to PTI, a passenger of the incident told that as soon as he was eating, then suddenly the window glass broke and a stone fell directly into his food plate. It is clear that the stone pelting was done very closely and with fatal intentions.
RPF Bhopal division commandant Prashant Yadav said that a case has been registered on the complaint of passenger Deepak Kumar. At that time Deepak was traveling on seat number 41 in B-4 coach.

According to Prashant Yadav, the attack took place around 10:30 pm and at 10:42, information was recorded on the Rail Help Portal. He said that “investigation is going on and we hope that in a day or two we will catch the culprits.” The Railway Protection Force team is currently investigating CCTV footage of the spot and surrounding areas. Along with this, efforts are being made to identify the suspects by contacting the local police.
At the time of the incident, the leader of the BJP Maharashtra unit, Chandan Goswami, who was present in the train, also shared his tragedy. He was sitting on seat number 9 in B-4 coach. He said, “Luckily the stone was installed under the glass of the window and I survived narrowly.” He demanded that the culprits be arrested as soon as possible and the railway administration should take concrete steps to prevent such incidents so that the safety of passengers can be ensured.
