Anyone who saw the series Squid Game, which made a blast on OTT, must have come to his mind, who is the person making it and how has he studied? So let’s know today the interesting story related to the studies and struggle of Squid Game, Hwang Dong-Hyuk. Today, 3 seasons of this series have also come now.
Hwang Dong-Hyuk was born in Ssangmun-Dong area of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. His childhood was very simple, but one thing that made him different from others was his love for comics and manga (Japanese comics). He used to sit in the comic book cafe for hours and read different stories. Perhaps this is from here that a creative thinking and imagination started taking shape inside them.
Where to study?
Hwang Dong-Hyuk received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication from Seoul National University after his early studies. Meanwhile, he also made many short films, including films like our Sad Life and A Puff of Smoke. These films are considered to be the initial step of his filmmaking.

But his story did not stop here. He moved to America to give his dreams a more high flight and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film Production from University of Southern California. While staying in America, he learned the nuances of filmmaking and also took experience of international film making.
