The special thing about this journey is that its base camp is in Jammu and the holy cave temple of Baba Amarnath is located in Kashmir. It is a symbol of the brotherhood of Jammu and Kashmir, which the whole world knows. Jammu and Kashmir is known for its guest Nawaji, the day we lost this guest Nawaji, we will truly lose the custom of Jammu and Kashmir.
Surinder Chaudhary praised BRO
Surinder Chaudhary told that he had come to Sonamarg to review the preparations for the journey. He said that the yatra is starting from July 3 and before that he himself went and inspected the track. He said, “I am very happy to say that the Border Road Organization (BRO) has done a great job of reconstruction of the track.” He also said, “Work day is very low in Kashmir and construction work will stop again as soon as the journey starts, so the readiness of BRO is commendable. In the future, such tracks will also be created so that the elders will also be able to see Baba.”
The deputy CM also said that this time the state government and Shri Amarnath Shrine Board are working together to conduct the Amarnath Yatra in a systematic and safe manner.
