The ceremony will start at 6 pm 1 hour before the toss. However, the possibility of rain has increased the concern of fans. There is a danger of the match (KKR vs RCB 1st match), but there is also a danger of cancellation of opening ceremonies.
Orange alert issued on 22 March in Kolkata
In Kolkata, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert from 20 to 22 March. That is, there will be a possibility of heavy rains here. According to the weather website, there is a possibility of rain throughout the day on 22 March. The chances of rain at 10 am are 70 percent while it will be reduced to 40 percent at the time of the match.
There is a danger of the cancellation of the match or a cut in overs on Saturday amid the possibility of rain in Kolkata. If it rains before the match, then the match can be awaited for the beginning, but in such a situation it will be difficult to organize the opening ceremony. If it rains in the afternoon, then the staff’s hard work for the ceremony on the ground will double.

Match will be held on 13 venue in IPL 2025
The 18th season of IPL is going to start from 22 March. The final of IPL 2025 will also be played at the Eden Gardens Stadium. A total of 74 matches in the tournament will be played on 13 venue.
