In order to protect its people from the nuclear attack, the Switzerland government has made rules that nuclear shelters have to be made before any construction here. According to the report, there are more than 3.7 lakh bunkers in Switzerland with a population of 88 lakhs.

In Switzerland, strong rocks of Swiss Alps have been dug deeply and have hundreds of anti -nuclear bunkers. There is also a trap of citizens and military tunnels. The gate of these bunkers are made at the bottom of the dunes. They are like common houses in appearance, but they are actually two meters high concrete walls.

Switzerland, with a population of 88 lakhs, has the highest number of nuclear shelters per person, whose number is around 3.7 lakhs. The law of this country made in 1963 guarantees a bunk bed to the citizens of this country in a nuclear disaster or a conflict with a neighboring country.

Under this law, every person should be replaced by at least one square meter for such an emergency. Apart from this, this shelter should be half an hour away from the person’s house or if the hilly area then it should be at one hour.

According to the Civil Protection Office of Switzerland, these bunkers can withstand nuclear attack as well as organic bomb attacks. These shelters are so strong that if a building falls on them, there can be no harm to the people hidden inside it. There are also equipment to clean the air.

The people there say that they do not think that these bunkers built 50-60 years ago can stop such attacks. This is the reason why the government is now trying to make this network better and modern.

For this, planning of $ 250 million is being planned. Its purpose is to ensure that bunkers are ready for use in the event of emergency. At the same time, officials say that investment in bunker is not an investment for any war but an investment in public safety.
