Filmmaker Boney Kapoor shared an old picture of his late wife Sridevi on Instagram and told that this is a moment before marriage. Boney Kapoor has shared a black and white picture on her Instagram account, in which Sridevi is sitting on the chair and posing for the camera. During this time she is also doing light smile.
In the caption of this photo, Boney Kapoor wrote, “Seeing me is smiling, this moment is before our marriage.”
Let us know that Boney Kapoor and Sridevi fell in love with each other during the shooting of the 1987 film Mr. India. Both of them got married in the year 1996. They had two daughters- Jahnavi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
However, Sridevi suddenly died in Dubai in 2018. He died due to drowning in the bathtub.
Boney Kapoor keeps sharing posts with Sridevi on his social media account. Recently, he posted some old pictures sharing an anecdote, when Raj Kapoor gave Sridevi the silver jubilee trophy of the film ‘Mr. India’.
Sharing a funny anecdote, Boney Kapoor told that Raj Kapoor wanted to take Sridevi in his film ‘Ghunghat Ke Pat Khol’.
Boney Kapoor wrote, “Raj Kapoor is giving Silver Jubilee Trophy of ‘Mr. India’ to Sridevi with great love. During this time he told Sridevi the story of his film ‘Ghunghat Ke Pat Khol’, in which he wanted to cast her. I remember, Raj Kapoor had mentioned it in a conversation before that.”
Boney further told that Raj Kapoor’s family used to call him ‘Cinderella’.
Boney Kapoor further told that Raj Kapoor was waiting for a long time to meet Sridevi, when he met Sridevi at the event, he told his wife Krishna Kapoor, “It was right to wait.”
