In Safidon town of Jind district of Haryana, unidentified assailants killed Dr. Vikas Sharma, the son of renowned doctors of the area and former BJP president Shiv Kumar Sharma, with knives.
The incident happened when Dr. Vikas was returning home after walking with his two other doctors. Both fellow doctors have also been injured in the attack. This is the 17th murder in the last one month in Jind district, due to which there is an atmosphere of panic and anger in the area.
How was the murder?
The incident took place on Rampura Road at around 11 pm on July 24 when the three doctors were passing by. At the same time, unknown miscreants surrounded him. At first there was a minor argument, then suddenly the attackers attacked with knives.
Dr. Vikas suffered several serious injuries and was rushed to a private hospital in Panipat in a hurry, where doctors declared him dead. Both the injured doctors are undergoing treatment, while the police have started investigation but so far no clue of the accused has been found.
Local people gave 24 hours time to the administration
After this incident, outrage has spread in the area. Local people have given a 24 -hour ultimatum to the administration that if the murder is not revealed and the arrest of the accused, then they will jam the road in Safidon, which will be responsible for the administration and the government. The family members of the deceased have also questioned the functioning of the police and demanded justice.
In Jind district, there is a huge increase in the incidents of murder for the last one month. This is the 17th case of this period of Dr. Vikas Sharma, which raises serious questions on the law and order of local administration. Public anger and dissatisfaction is increasing. In such a situation, there is pressure on the government to not only disclose this matter soon, but also take strong action on the increasing crimes in the district.
