Ramdas athawale on nehru-modi: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Saturday (March 29) made such a statement about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru that the Congress will not like it. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will break the record of Jawaharlal Nehru and will maintain power for the fourth consecutive time.

Ramdas Athawale, the head of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), is on a three -day visit to Bihar. He addressed a press conference after meeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that the health of the JD (U) president is’ good ‘and he will remain in power for at least five to 10 years’.

Athawale responsible for ‘Chhava’ for violence

Known to say his words to impunity, Athawale blamed the blockbuster film ‘Chhava’ for the recent communal tension in his home state of Maharashtra and called for ‘shut down the demand for removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb in Aurangabad. He said, ‘I am proud to be part of the Narendra Modi -led team, during whose tenure we are leading to becoming the third largest economy in the world.’

The Rajya Sabha MP said, ‘Modi has returned to power for the third consecutive time and equaled Nehru’s record. I am confident that he will break the record and will come to power for the fourth consecutive time. He said, ‘As a Buddhist, I respect Bihar a lot, the land where Buddha gained knowledge more than 2,500 years ago.’

Supported the performance of Buddhists

After showing solidarity with the Buddhists seeking control of Mahabodhi involved in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Athawale said that he has raised this issue in front of CM Nitish Kumar. The Union Minister said, ‘Bihar is the land of Emperor Ashoka, who spread the teachings of Buddha abroad. Today, followers of Buddhism are spread in 80 countries. It is natural for him that there are many members of other religions in the trust operating the temple. This has happened due to an Act passed by the State Government in the 1950s.

What did you say about CM Nitish’s health?

He said, ‘I have urged Nitish ji to resolve the concerns of Buddhists, who have been protesting in Bodh Gaya for a month. I had met the protesters myself yesterday. The Chief Minister has directed the concerned officials to investigate the matter. Athavale said about Nitish that I have known him since he was a Railway Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government. He also claimed that he liked the health of 70 -year -old leader Kumar. He said that the rumors of CM Nitish being physically and mentally unwell seem to ‘seem to be the act of RJD and Congress’ which are ‘worried’ about the upcoming state assembly elections.

Nitish Kumar is healthy with Lalu: Union Minister

RPI (A) chief said, ‘Nitish ji is definitely more healthy than Lalu ji (RJD President). I have been a friend of both. I think Nitish ji will remain in power for the next 5 or 10 years. Maybe my party should not be strong in Bihar, but I have told them that I will campaign for the NDA.
