T20i records: Many amazing records have been made so far in cricket’s fastest format T20 International, but on August 20, 2024, Samoa batsman Derius Visar did what no player has been able to do till date. In the match played against Vanuatu, he scored 39 runs in a single over, which has become the biggest scoring over in T20I history. Earlier it was of a record 36 runs, which was shared by Yuvraj Singh, Kiron Pollard, Rohit Sharma-Rinku Singh and Deepender Singh Ari of Nepal.

This feat took place in Apia (Ground No. 2), when Samoa’s team was chasing the target. Darius Visar rained runs in Vanuatu bowler Nalin Nipiko’s over. The score card of that over was 6, 6, 6, 6 on no ball, 6 runs, then 6 on no ball.
