Sikandar Raza told Star Sports, “In this series, both the countries will have equal chances to win. One thing I am sure of is that Zimbabwe has been playing very exciting cricket continuously, so I can definitely say that this series will be very entertaining. I think as far as winning or losing, which is important for both the countries, then both the countries have equal chances of winning the series.”
Raza further said, “I think like India, Zimbabwe is also going through a period of change, so I don’t think the series will be one-sided.”
The Zimbabwe tour is very important for the Indian team captained by Shreyas Iyer. Zimbabwe tour is a big challenge for Shreyas Iyer as captain. After Shreyas Iyer became the captain, Team India has lost the T20 series against Ireland and England. In such a situation, Shreyas Iyer is looking for his first series win against Zimbabwe. The T20 series matches between India and Zimbabwe will be played on July 23, July 25 and July 26. All three matches will be played at Harare Sports Club, Harare from 4:30 pm Indian time.
