The last date of application for recruitment to technician posts by Railway Recruitment Board is today August 7, 2025. This recruitment is being conducted under CEN number 02/2025. Candidates who want to apply for Technician Grade 1 signal and technician grade 3 posts can apply online through the official website rrbapply.gov.in by tonight.
Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 6,238 vacant posts will be filled in many zones of Indian Railways. This includes 183 posts of technician grade 1 signal and about 6,055 posts of technician grade 3. The application process is completely online and candidates can apply for a post only under one RRB and one pay level.
How to apply
To apply for recruitment, candidates will first have to visit the official website of railway recruitment rrbapply.gov.in. Select your favorite RRB zone on the home page there. After this, click on the Apply online link given under CEN number 02/2025. Then the candidate will have to register from which login credentials will be received. After login, candidates will have to fill their educational and personal information in the application form. The application fee can be paid through online medium. Before submitting the form, check all the information carefully and then submit the final, download a copy of the application form in the last and keep it safe.
What is qualification and selection process
For technician grade 1 signal, candidates should have a degree of graduation in engineering or technology from a recognized university. At the same time, for the Technician Grade 3, the candidates should have passed matriculation or SSLC and it is mandatory to have an ITI certificate in the trades recognized on NCVT or SCVT. The selection process includes written examination documents, verification and medical tests. Selection will be done on the basis of your results in all these stages.
What is age limit and salary
According to 1 July 2025, the age limit for technician grade 1 signal has been set for 18 to 33 years and 18 to 30 years for technician grade 3. At the same time, the initial salary will be 29, 200 and 19, 900.
How much is the application fee
To apply for this recruitment, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. In which 400 will be returned after the examination. At the same time, the fee for SC, ST, women and other reserved categories is Rs 250 which will be fully refunded.
