New Zealand’s 23 -year -old fast bowler Jack Foulks has performed historicly in his debut Test match against Zimbabwe. In this Test played in Bulveo, he bowled brilliantly and created history with a total of 9 wickets. This is the best performance ever on the Test debut of any New Zealand player. Thanks to this brilliant bowling of Jack, New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe with an innings and 359 runs.
Jack created history, New Zealand player’s best performance on debut
Jack bowled brilliantly in the first innings in his debut Test and took 4 wickets for 37 runs in just 8 overs in the second innings. Zimbabwe batsmen could not stand in front of his bowling. Jack’s performance is the best performance on Test debut from any New Zealand bowler. On the basis of this performance, New Zealand won the match in Test history by winning the match by innings and 359 runs, which is the third biggest win in the history of Test cricket.
Earlier this record was in the name of Will O’Rurek, who took 9 wickets for 93 runs against South Africa in 2023. Foulks not only broke his record, but also told with his brilliant average and deadly bowling that he would be seen performing more in Test cricket.
New Zealand captured the series
New Zealand won the two-match Test series 2–0. New Zealand won the second match of the series by innings and 359 runs thanks to Jack’s deadly bowling and batsmen batting. This is New Zealand’s biggest win in Test history. Earlier in the first match of the series, New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe. New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe by 9 wickets.
