How much did ‘Coolie’ earn on the 7th day?
Lokesh Kanagaraja -directed ‘Coolie’ has completed a week at the box office. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film has many powerful actors including Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Aamir Khan, Pooja Hegde and Upendra. The film was released in five languages, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, which increased its Pan India appeal. As expected, the record of this movie started breaking and it also earned a stormy speed on the opening weekend. But its box has become round in the weekendage and it became a victim of recession. Since Monday, the earnings of ‘Coolie’ continue to decline, which is now increasing the tension of the makers.
- Talking about the collection of the film, ‘Coolie’ collected 65 crores on the first day of its release, 54.75 crores on the second day, 39.5 crore on the third day, 35.25 crore on the fourth day, 12 crore on the fifth day and 9.51 crores on the sixth day.
- Now according to the Early Trend Report of Caiknilk, ‘Coolie’ has collected 8 crores on the 7th day of its release.
- With this, the total earning of 7 days of ‘Coolie’ has now been Rs 222.5 crore.
Will the budget be able to recover ‘Coolie’?
Looking at the early trade of ‘Coolie’, it seemed that this film would break all the records at the box office. However, even after 7 days of release, this film has not been able to cross the 250 crore mark at the Indian box office. At the same time, this film is said to be made in a huge budget of 300 to 400 crores. In such a situation, in view of the declining earnings, it is becoming difficult with every passing day to recover your budget for ‘Coolie’. However, the makers hopes that the film’s earnings will accelerate the second weekend. It will be seen to see how much ‘Coolie’ collects on the second Saturday and second Sunday. If its earnings do not increase, then this film will be on the verge of flopping by a hit.
