Himachal Pradesh Congress Party on Friday launched the ‘Vote Chor, Kursi Chhut’ campaign from Shimla. The campaign was launched from the Congress office Rajiv Bhavan, where state in -charge Rajni Patil, State President Pratibha Singh, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy CM, all ministers, MLAs and many big leaders were present. The campaign started with full enthusiasm, but in the midst of this, the factionalism of the Congress came out again.
Sukhu and Pratibha factions face to face
During the program, the atmosphere suddenly changed when two groups started shouting slogans against each other. Supporters of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and state president Pratibha Singh, Vikramaditya Singh came face to face. During this time Rajni Patil in -charge was also present there.
Congress’s old sourness emerged again
Factionalism is not new in Himachal Congress. Since the time of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, the Holi Lodge (whereabouts of Virbhadra Singh family) and Sukhu camp have been well known.
The fight for both camps continues!
It was believed that after the death of Virbhadra Singh, the dispute would cool down, but the latest development made it clear that the battle of both camps is still intact. Earlier, when Virbhadra Singh was the Chief Minister, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu used to be the state Congress president. Today the situation has changed, Sukhu is CM and Pratibha Singh is the state Congress president. This is the reason that the conflict has started coming up again over the post of president and hold on the organization.
Program turned into power performance
In fact, this program was to attack the BJP government and join the public. Through the ‘Vote Chor, Kursi Chhota’ campaign, the Congress wanted to give a message that the opposition government has taken to the streets to save democracy. But before the stage, the workers started demonstrating power.
