Earlier the car used to have a fixed time frame. After the completion of 15 years, either the car had to scrap it or had to register again for 5 years. Usually people believed that after this period it becomes difficult to keep the car. But now a big change has been made in the rules.

Now people have been given this facility that a 20 -year -old car can also be registered and run on the road. The Government of India has recently implemented new rules. That is, the vehicles, which were considered useless after completing the first time limit, can now hit the road again.

The fees have also been changed for re -registration of the car. Now the owners will have to pay the fixed amount to increase the validity of the old vehicle. This fee is more than before. Due to the rules, the owners will have to think that keeping the old car will be beneficial or it will be a better option to buy new.

This fee has been kept separately according to the category of the train. After the new provisions are implemented, the value of old trains may be better than before. Because the owners will get the legal right to run them on the road.

However, this can only happen when the owner repays the fixed fee and get the vehicle registered again. The intention of the government is clear that the same vehicles should be run on the road which is with valid registration. This is the reason that along with increasing the fees, a time limit has also been set.

Overall, now the age of the car is not limited only to the company’s years. A 20 -year -old train can also be run by registering again. However, extra fees will have to be paid for this. The new rule gives people the option that if they want, they should use an old car or buy a new car.
