According to the information, 399.8 mm of rain has been recorded so far in August. Earlier, in the year 2010, 455.8 mm of rain was received. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the monsoon has been active for a long time this time. The reason for this is being believed to be the active geographical phenomenon La-Nina.

3 children were injured when an old wall collapsed in Mandavali area of East Delhi, although they narrowly survived. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) received complaints of waterlogging and falling trees.
