China wants to get ahead of America
The US currently has 94 nuclear reactors with a total capacity of around 97 GW (GW). At the same time, China is rapidly creating new reactors and by April 2024 its capacity reached 53.2 GW. Therefore, China aims to overtake America by gaining more than 100 GW of capacity.
Russia supported China
Likheve told the Russian state TV, ‘China has an ambitious scheme for the development of nuclear power. The target has been set to catch America and get beyond it and Russia will cooperate fully in it. We are already helping. Russia has so far made four nuclear reactors in China and currently four more construction work is going on. Therefore, this partnership of Russia and China can change the balance of global power in the coming years in the nuclear power sector.
Donald Trump has made serious allegations
US President Donald Trump has accused Putin, Jinping and Kim Jong Un. Russia has given a strong reply to these allegations. In the statement released, Russia said that there is no such conspiracy and perhaps Trump was joking. At the same time, President Xi Jinping clearly stated that the world is standing at the point of election between peace and war. Putin and Kim Jong Un were also present on this occasion.
