In Nepal on Tuesday (September 9, 2025), people also attacked former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba. The protesters also vandalized his residence in Deuba in Budanilakantha, Kathmandu. The officers who came to save Deuba and his wife Arju had been vandalized before reaching their residence. Blood was dripping from the face of the former minister. The protesting youth set the leaders, cabinet ministers’ residences and government buildings. Even party offices and police stations were not spared.

Slogans raised of ‘KP Chor, Quit Desho’
According to a PTI report, the protesters raised slogans like “KP Chor, Quit Desho” and “Action” against corrupt leaders during the protest. A war-like situation was visible in Kathmandu, because many teams of youth and women were seen fighting with police in small troops and fighting with the police in public places. The protesters were shouting slogans, “Lift the ban from social media, stop corruption, not social media.”

Nepal’s finance minister ran on the streets
Nepal Finance Minister Vishnu Prasad Paudel was run by Gen Z protesters on the streets of Kathmandu and a young protestor jumped and kicked the minister, causing him to collide and collide there. On Friday, 26 unregistered social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube and X, were blocked by the government. Due to this, the youth started a ruckus in this Himalayan country with a population of 3 crore.
