A suspect has been arrested in the case of shooting and killing Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist in the US. Utah’s Governor Spencer J. Cox said, “The detained man has been identified as 22 -year -old Utah resident Tyler Robinson. He said that the suspect had become very political and he strongly opposed Charlie Kirk’s views. He also said that Robinson had blamed one of his family friends for the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Cox said that the investigator has found some important evidence in this case, in which the signs carved on the bullets recovered from the rifle, which are believed to have been used in the attack and the message sent by the suspected accused on a chatting app, which was handed over to the police by his roommate after the firing.

US President Donald Trump said in an interview to Fox News on Friday (September 12, 2025), “We are very confident that it is the same.” Trump claimed that a very close person of the accused helped the police to be caught.

In that video, a man appeared going to the roof of the building from where the bullets were fired. After this, he came down from there and jumped on the ground and went outside the university campus. After crossing the road, the person was bribed in a nearby small forest area, from where the authorities recovered a high-scale bolt-action rifle. Officials believed that the same rifle was used to carry out firing on Charlie Kirk.

In the video, the face of the suspected young man was partially covered with baseball cap and sunglasses. He had taken a bagpack and was wearing a shirt on which America’s flag seemed to be printed. According to the investigators, after the age of the suspect was of the age of a student, the college campus was easily mixed in the crowd.
