In view of the 2025 assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav started the ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra’ from Jehanabad from Tuesday (September 16, 2025). On the very first day of the yatra, he addressed the public meeting in Jehanabad, Islampur, Hilsa and Fatuha. During this, he told the people to give a chance for just 20 months, not five years. If you do not land on expectations and do not change the picture of Bihar, then I will resign.
Despite the rain on the first day of the journey, a lot of crowds gathered. Tejashwi Yadav got rid of seeing. He rained a lot on the government in front of the public. Said that there is no work without money. Common people have become troubled by corruption and crime under BJP rule. He said that if he becomes CM, he will not leave anyone who makes a mess, irrespective of the caste or sect.
Nitish Kumar attacked
Tejashwi Yadav said that the people of Bihar are in desire to create a new Bihar. He said that in his power of 17 months, he has proved that he shows what he says by providing jobs to more than five lakh youth. Tejashwi said that before this uncle (Nitish Kumar) used to say that you will bring money from your father for a job? When more than five lakh youth were given jobs, uncle started copying them and then they also started talking about the job.
Tejashwi Yadav said that once again I have promised to give 2500 rupees a month to women under the ‘My-Bain Mann’ scheme. His uncle is seen by his uncle and then talking about giving loans ten thousand rupees to women.
On the other hand, due to rain, Tejashwi reached the meeting place in Jehanabad with a delay of more than five hours. However, thousands of his supporters kept waiting. From eight o’clock in the morning, people started gathering to listen to Tejashwi at Gandhi Maidan. MP Surendra Yadav, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav, RJD National Vice President Uday Narayan Chaudhary, Spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed, MLA Suday Yadav, MLA Satish Kumar and many other leaders were also present in the program.
