Temperature was higher than normal in September
The temperature in the capital remained higher than normal in the month of September. On Monday (29 September), the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department informed that the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which was the hottest day of September in the last two years and on September 5, 2023, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius.

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 28.2 degrees Celsius on Monday, which was 4.7 degrees above the average temperature of this season while the maximum temperature was 3.4 degrees above normal. IMD said that the level of humidity was recorded between 57 and 76 percent. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy and light rain or drizzle for Tuesday.
