M3M Hurun India released the Rich List 2025 of India’s richest personalities on Wednesday (October 1, 2025). This list shows the success of the country’s top Dhankubers and new businessmen. This year the number of billionaires in India has increased to 358, which is a record so far.
68 -year -old Mukesh Ambani and his family re -occupied the India Rich List 2025 list with assets worth Rs 9.55 lakh crore ($ 105 billion). At the same time, Gautam Adani (63 years) and his family are second with assets of Rs 8.15 lakh crore.
Roshni Nadar Malhotra created history
This time, while creating history, Roshni Nadar Malhotra (44 years) has made it to the top-3 for the first time. She became the richest woman in India with assets of Rs 2.84 lakh crore and was also the youngest member of the top-10. Arvind Srinivas (31 years) of Chennai, who is the founder of AI Startup Perplexity, became the youngest billionaire with assets of Rs 21,190 crore. Neeraj Bajaj (70 years) and his family increased their assets from 43 percent to Rs 2.33 lakh crore and reached the sixth position in the list.
Shahrukh Khan joined the list of billionaires for the first time
Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan (59 years) joined the list of billionaires for the first time. His assets were estimated at Rs 12,490 crore. Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma (46 years) has become a billionaire again. Kaivalya Vohra (22 years) is the youngest in Zepto’s co-founder ($ 5.9 billion) value, who made his place in this list and his partner Adit Adit Palicha is the second young billionaire who made it to the list.
The highest number of 451 people from Mumbai included in this list
This time 1,687 persons were included, whose assets are more than Rs 1,000 crore. There are 284 new names among them. The people included in the list earned assets worth Rs 1,991 crore every day. The maximum number of 451 people from Mumbai joined this list, followed by Delhi (223) and Bengaluru (116). 101 women are also included in this list, including $ 26 billionaire. 66 percent of the people in the list are Self-Made.
These sectors made a big contribution
The total assets of the rich of India have reached Rs 167 lakh crore. Areas such as technology, infrastructure, automobile, jewelery and real estate have contributed significantly. Now there are $ 358 billionaire in India, which holds assets equal to about half of GDP.
