Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has engaged in flattery of US President Donald Trump. He praised Trump on Tuesday (October 7) and said that he is the President who likes change. The important thing is that the Canadian PM also justified Trump’s false claims. He also mentioned the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
During a bilateral talks with Trump at the Oval Office, Carney said, “You are the President to bring a change. Changes in the economy, commitment to the defense expenditure of NATO partners, efforts towards peace from India and Pakistan to Azerbaijan and Armenia and weakening Iran as the power of terror, all this has been possible under your leadership. ”
Trump’s claims were rejected by India
Carney, who was elected Prime Minister in April, came to the White House in May this year. Trump has reiterated many times that he has helped to stop tension between India and Pakistan. India, however, has dismissed the role of a third party in postponing military action with Pakistan. India had run Operation Sindoor after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. During this time, nine terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir were targeted. More than a hundred terrorists were killed during India’s operation.
Increased distance between India and America
Actually these days, relations between India and America are going through a period of ups and downs. Trump imposed 50 percent tariff on India. After this, strictness was also shown regarding visa rules. Trump has improved relations with Pakistan along with increasing the distance from India. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir recently reached the White House to meet Trump.
