High Cholesterol Sign: Cholesterol is essential for the body, but excess of it can be harmful. Especially when LDL i.e. bad cholesterol increases, the risk of problems like heart attack, blockage and stroke increases. In such a situation, it is important to control cholesterol and recognize its symptoms.

When cholesterol level increases, pain and cramps start in the legs. Actually, this reduces the blood flow, due to which one may feel heaviness or cramps in the legs while walking or even at rest. In such a situation, a doctor should be examined immediately.

The most serious symptom of cholesterol is pain or a feeling of pressure in the chest. In fact, when cholesterol accumulates in the arteries of the heart, pressure is felt on the chest, which can also cause burning sensation or tightness. This could be a sign of heart attack or coronary artery disease.

Due to increase in cholesterol, there may be pain around the neck. In fact, when blood circulation starts getting obstructed, severe pain is felt in the neck, jaw or shoulders, which often feels like tension or muscle pain.

Apart from pain, other symptoms may also appear. It is common to feel numbness, tingling or coldness in hands and feet. In some cases, the feet turn blue because the blood does not flow properly.

Many people with high cholesterol feel lightheaded or dizzy. Shortness of breath or getting tired quickly while climbing stairs can also be a symptom of this problem.

In some cases, yellowness or formation of yellow rings around the eyes is also a sign of increased cholesterol. If such changes are seen in your body, consult a doctor immediately, so that the situation can be stopped before it becomes serious.
