According to the news, this incident is being reported from Durga Chowk area on the night of 18th May, where two youths on a motorcycle had arrived with a blue colored drum. It is alleged that this drum was filled with biryani, which both of them threw from the bridge into the river Ganga. When the local people tried to stop them, both of them left the drum and fled from the spot. The video of this incident has also surfaced, due to which there is a lot of resentment among the people.

Local people allege that such activities are done every day in river Ganga, which is insulting Mother Ganga and hurting the faith of Hindus. People said that efforts are being made to spoil the atmosphere of Haridwar through such incidents. It won’t be tolerated.
