Verka Milk Price Hike: The continuous increase in the prices of petrol, diesel and gas in the country was till now affecting the pockets of the common man. Now people have got a big shock from the dairy industry also. Many big milk companies have continuously increased their price of one liter milk by Rs 2. This is going to increase the burden on the common man’s pocket. Now the name of Punjab based company Verka has also been added to this list.
Verka increased milk prices
After Amul and Mother Dairy, now Punjab’s cooperative milk company Verka has also increased the prices of milk. Verka has increased the price of 1 liter milk by Rs 2. These new milk rates will come into effect from tomorrow i.e. 14th May 2026. From tomorrow morning the price of milk will increase by two rupees per liter and by one rupee per half litre.
How much milk will you get?
From tomorrow morning i.e. 14th May, half liter packet of Verka’s full cream milk will now be available for Rs 36 instead of Rs 35. Whereas the price of half liter standard milk is being increased from Rs 32 to Rs 33. Other categories of milk have also been increased by Re 1 per half liter and Re 2 per liter. Apart from this, the company has also changed the prices of big pack milk. Now 1.5 liter full cream milk will be available for Rs 106, while the price of standard milk will be Rs 96.
No changes in small pack
However, there has been no change in the prices of smaller packets of 200 ml and 350 ml. At the same time, the price of big pack of 6 liters will also remain the same. The company has also made it clear that the prices will increase from tomorrow morning itself. It is possible that old prices may be printed on some packets, but the price will be charged as per the new rates.
