During a conversation with news agency IANS, Dilip Ghosh said about Abhishek Banerjee’s statement that ‘as long as he was winning, everything was fine, EVMs were fine and the Election Commission was fine. Now that they have lost, they are saying that manipulation has taken place. Society does not tolerate such people. Said that ‘everything will be implemented for the safety of women. Whatever incidents have happened in Bengal, they should not happen again in future. We will work on this with a zero-tolerance approach.

TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee had recently written in a post on ‘X’ that our fight for democracy, constitutional values and people’s rights will continue under the guidance of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. He had written that we have fought a very difficult election, in which allegedly about 30 lakh real voters were excluded from the voter list. During this entire process, we saw how biased the attitude of many government agencies and the Election Commission of India was.

All these things are extremely worrying and absolutely intolerable in a democratic society.
