The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is in a mood to take strict action against the players and team officials. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has said that they are going to issue new guidelines very soon. He clearly said that this season he has seen some irregularities in the conduct of players and team officials.
Devjit Saikia said that some unauthorized people are traveling with the players in the team bus and are staying in the team hotel. These people are going into the rooms of players and officials without permission. Saikia made it clear that this behavior is completely against the anti-corruption protocol of BCCI. New guidelines in this regard can be issued on Thursday evening.
BCCI is also considering implementing strict rules for team owners in the Indian Premier League. Devjit Saikia told news agency ANI that some team owners and officials are roaming with the players in those places where they are not allowed to enter at all. Let us tell you that as per rules, team owners are not allowed to go to the dressing room during live matches.

Since the beginning of IPL 2026, some players have been seen roaming with their girlfriends. Some of these partners are traveling with the players in the team bus and some have been seen with the players in the hotel. Till now Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh and Ishan Kishan have also been seen hanging out with their partners.
